| CINI’s Emergency Ward provides treatment to severely malnourished children suffering from opportunistic infections. The Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre provides these children’s mothers with accommodation, food and training in nutrition and preventative healthcare while their children are nursed back to health. Essentially these services give CINI an opportunity to work closely with the families worst affected by malnutrition to help them break free of the vicious cycle of poverty, malnutrition and ill health. As this is an ongoing service, as opposed to a shorter term project, we are seeking to put the future of the Emergency Ward and Nutrition Rehabiltiation Centre on a more sustainable basis, by funding them through regular contributions over several years from individuals, companies and charitable trusts. Hundreds of children are relying on us to keep these services open. You can help by making a regular donation to CINI UK. For £3.14 a month you can provide 12 severely malnourished children a year with the food they need in order to be nursed back to health. We need just 151 people to pledge to give £20 a month, or 302 to give £10 a month to cover the full cost of providing these services. |
